A fatal plane crash in Costa Rica has resulted in a wave of shock and grief across the world.
Investigators believe that two women were killed when their plane crashed on Wednesday at the end of a trip to Costa Rica.
Two other women are being treated at hospital in the capital of Costa Rica.
The incident comes after a number of deadly plane crashes.
On January 17, a pilot was killed when his Embraer 175 plane crashed in rural Mexico.
The following week saw the deaths of two women on planes in Texas, one in a plane which crashed into a river and another who died after a small plane crashed above the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
“The crash in Costa Rica is terrible news,” President Donald Trump tweeted.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this tragic accident in Costa Rica. There has been no report of any survivors.”

“Obviously there was a tragedy in the past on both sides of the border,” one witness, Alva Carrizales, told Fox Sports.

But the tragedy is not over yet.
“The bodies of the two women who died in the crash have been found at different sites. But there are still at least five people who were in the plane that crashed,” said CNN Latino vice president and anchor Jose Antonio Crespo.
According to Carrizales, the plane was flying from Miami to Carrasco, Costa Rica.
“Right now, officials are going through all the data. They’re going to try to find out why the plane crashed, who else may have been on board and why this plane crashed.”
